The work we do
The New Zealand Programmes team focuses on delivering exceptional programme support and pastoral care for programmes primarily based in New Zealand. Programmes can range in scope and scale from hosting one week long delegations in Wellington to programmes of several months or a year where participants can come from multiple countries and engage multiple institutions and locations across New Zealand.
The role:
As one of three administrators you will be responsible for carrying out administrative tasks associated with all aspects of the programmes team including working with offshore partners. There’s a heavy administrative support component to this role and as such, you’ll be involved in all of the following:
  • establishing and maintaining efficient records of participants
  • processing of invoices
  • timetabling and event coordination and training of students in the use of University systems
  • providing support to the ASEAN Regional Programmes Manager, English Language Institute teachers and around the pastoral care of participants
  • assisting with logistical administration around the programmes
  • creating and maintaining social media updates alongside our marketing team, to facilitate participant engagement
  • creating and maintaining programme analytics, data processing and data entry
  • other administrative duties as required.
Ideally you’ll have:
  • practical administration experience
  • the ability to engage across a range of diverse cultures
  • are able to build strong working relationships
  • are a quick learner and can pick up new skills at pace
  • are known for having initiative and can apply this confidently
  • are an exceptional communicator, both verbal and written
  • are flexible and energetic with a positive outlook and can-do mindset
