The Opportunity 

DX Solutions DevOps team represents the phenomenal change in shaping the IT culture, focusing on rapid IT service delivery through adoption of agile, lean practices in the context of a system-oriented approach. DevOps emphasises both people and culture, seeking to improve collaboration between multiple teams, beyond Operations and Development.
Our mission is to form formidable technical teams at DX. Therefore, we’re appointing a growing number of DevOps Engineers with strong backgrounds in DevOps CI/CD, Quality Engineering consulting, and Cloud Infrastructure.
  • Lead, manage, guide, train, and mentor across IT project teams
  • Make recommendations on tooling that will support the business's needs for CI/CD and efficient release of the software
  • Mentor DevOps Engineers in the product teams
  • Collaborate with our Chief Technology Officer, the DevOps team, stakeholders and customers
  • Support cross-client initiatives
Your Skills:             
  • MS/BS in Computer Science, Engineering or related subject
  • 7+ years’ experience in software engineering or DevOps
  • Extensive knowledge of DevOps principles and practices that support best practice CI/CD and enabling teams to be successful in delivering software
  • Exhibit the creative process of translating ideas into results in the form of automation. Approaching engineering solutions with thoughts of, “How do we look to automate this?”
  • Adaptability to handle different environments from legacy to Greenfield
  • Understanding DevOps is a journey without expectations that change can happen immediately
  • Be a problem solver with the ability to guide and patiently mentor teams    
  • Quick learning ability and passionate in keeping up with industry trends 
  • Management skills across an entire client account for all consultants under lead level
  • Team leadership capabilities, ability to facilitate cross-team alignment and consistency, excellent communication, and presentation skills
  • Excellent domain knowledge around immutable infrastructure, infrastructure-as-code, and current tooling to support the management and orchestration of these.
  • Knowledge of test tooling and automation that will support and raise the quality bar across testing
Desirable Technical Experience:
  • AWS, Chef, VMware
  • On premise infrastructure + AWS cloud
  • CI/CD tools: Jenkins and GitLab
  • DevOps methodology: 3 Musketeers
  • Configuration management: Ansible and Chef
