Exciting opportunity is now available for a genuine and effective Specialty Sales Person to join their friendly and pro-active team at Baralaba, QLD.

Our client is a growing Rural Merchandise business whose main focus is to support and develop the rural industry, they have a strong market presence and currently operate three branches throughout Central Queensland, servicing and supplying diverse agricultural operations. An exciting opportunity is now available for a genuine and effective Specialty Sales Person to assist the Branch Manager and join their friendly and proactive team at Baralaba, QLD. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining genuine rapport with customers, identifying requirements and supplying customers with specialist agricultural products. This autonomous role is ideally suited to someone who has highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to identify with rural farming business, together with a comprehensive understanding of animal husbandry and/or an agronomic background, and is enthusiastic and passionate about working in the Agricultural Industry and growing their business.

Position Requirements:

-   Demonstrated comprehensive knowledge of agricultural industry
-   Ability to develop genuine rapport and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stake holders
-   Highly developed computer literacy with the ability to learn new systems and processes
-   Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to relate to people at all levels
-   Rural merchandise sales and marketing experience with ability to establish and maintain relationships 
-   Commitment to service excellence and customer satisfaction
-   Exceptional organisational ability with high attention to detail and ability to multitask and work in fast paced environment 
-   Ability to work independently and in team environment 
-   Current vehicle licence essential, forklift licence advantage 

The day to day role will include, but not limited to:

-   Maintain and develop effective and professional relationships with existing and new customers
-   Identify and develop sales strategies together with preparing quotes
-   Communicate with customers to ensure quality of product
-   Report directly to Branch Manager
