Diverse Irrigation Company is now seeking a genuine, effective and efficient Service Technician to join their team based in Narromine, NSW.

Our client is a long standing Irrigation Company operating four branches throughout Western NSW, servicing and supplying; Farming, Local/State Government and Residential customers, specialising in design and construction of water reticulation systems, including centre pivots and lateral moves. A position is now available for a genuine, effective and efficient Service Technician to join their friendly and positive team in their Narromine branch. The successful candidate will be responsible for installation, maintenance and repair of irrigation systems including pivots and pumps. As leaders in their field this company values loyalty, rewards performance and retains employees. This autonomous role is ideally suited to someone with significant understanding of irrigation systems, operation and maintenance of pumps and has a strong customer focus together with highly developed organisational, communication/interpersonal and computer skills.

Position Requirements:

-   Demonstrated current 3-5 years experience in similar role/industry
-   Mechanical or Electrical background 
-   Knowledge of and strong understanding of pumps and irrigation systems
-   Highly developed computer literacy and experienced with Microsoft Office Suite
-   Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
-   Ability to develop genuine rapport and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stake holders
-   Highly organised with attention to detail and excellent time management and problem solving skills 
-   Flexible with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and demands
-   Ability to work independently and within team
-   Current vehicle licence essential
-   HR truck licence preferred 
-   Certificates for WHS compliance such as Forklift and First Aid would be well regarded 
-    Willingness to travel to projects in Western NSW
-   Agricultural Industry experience would be desirable

The day to day role will include, but not limited to:

-    Installation of pumps/pivots/water systems in Agricultural, Local and State Government and Residential settings
-    Carry out general maintenance and repair of irrigation systems 
-    Ability to maintain and repair pumps
-    Liaise with customer's service calls and trouble shoot issues
-    Maintain and develop effective and professional relationships with customers, employees and internal stakeholders
-    Adhere to Workplace Health and Safety policies and procedures 
-    Administration and sales duties as required
-    Utilise organisational skills to ensure jobs are completed in a timely and cost effective manner
-    Report to Branch Manager
