General Farm Hand is now required with immediate start for a dry land cropping and livestock operation near Dubbo, NSW.

Our client is a diverse family owned and managed dryland broadacre cropping and earthmoving operation together with Angus cattle and sheep located 30km from the city of Dubbo in Central NSW. An experienced General Farm Hand for this progressive and diverse enterprise is now required, commencing immediately. This position is ideally suited to someone who has a farming background with good farming knowledge; able to set-up, operate and maintain large late model machines while competently performing all stock and broadacre operations unsupervised.  The successful candidate must be a team player, have a great attitude, be energetic and driven.

Position Requirements: 
-  Demonstrated current experience in broadacre dryland cropping 
-  Ability to operate late model farming machinery competently
-  Sound stock handling skills 
-  HC truck licence preferred 
-  Welding experience 
-  Sound mechanical knowledge 
-  GPS guidance experience
-  Ability to work autonomously with great attitude 
-  Passionate and enthusiastic about agricultural industry 
-  Highly organised with attention to detail and excellent time management skills 
-  Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate on all levels 
The day to day role will include, but not limited to: 
-  Operation of late model farm machinery including John Deere tractors, sprayers, excavators and Kenworth truck 
-  General maintenance and servicing of farm machinery, plant and equipment 
-  All aspects of stock handling
-  Routine workshop maintenance
-  General farm activities
-  Report directly to Owner
