CCQ supports all Queenslanders affected by cancer – from patients to families, caregivers and health professionals. Our range of support services and programs include telephone and email support,  Cancersupport, Cancer counselling, support groups, Information Sessions Practical Support, information resources and delivering information and education programs.
  
About the role 
As a member of the Accommodation Services team, you will play an important role in an organisation that makes a difference to Queenslanders every day.  In this role, you will welcome visitors to our Rockhampton Accommodation Lodge and provide administrative and team support.  You will coordinate accommodation bookings, process patient travel paperwork and provide oversight to housekeeping and facility requirements.
  
This position is a permanent full-time role, working 37.5 hours per week. 
  
About you
You will be resilient, welcoming, personable and sensitive with the emotional maturity to manage incoming guests who may be unwell or concerned because of a recent cancer diagnosis.  While a good level of skills is important, your attitude and personality is equally important to your success in this team.
  
It is desirable that you have had experience within the accommodation industry and you will be competent dealing with administration and facility related tasks throughout the lodge. Your absolute discretion and confidentiality when dealing with guests and colleagues is paramount.
