About the organisation

As one of the largest integrated health providers in New Zealand, my client have a reputation for providing excellent multidisciplinary injury management, vocational, community and musculoskeletal rehabilitation services. They have clinics across the country and hold various contracts with ACC, third party insurers, DHB’s, The Ministry of Health, private businesses and leading New Zealand organisations. 

About the role

With a variety of community contracts in place this is a position where every day is different. There are rest home, TI, SRNA and private voc rehab contracts. Covering the Manawatu region, you’ll be required to work autonomously, managing your own diary - yet still with the benefit of being part of a wider team and network of clinics and Head Office in Wellington.

Skills and experience

To win this role you will:
  • Be an experienced OT with a community background, or desire to transition into this area of work
  • You'll be confident, independent, organised and self-motivated, flexible and adaptable
  • Have a passion for working with people - your patients are the centre of your work
  • Be committed to ongoing professional development. These contracts take time to learn and are ever changing. Even experienced OTs will come into this role and continue learning. You will be open to this.
  • Hold NZ Occupational Therapy Board registration, a current Annual Practicing Certificate and a current drivers licence.
