About the organisation

As one of the largest integrated health providers in New Zealand, our client has a reputation for providing excellent multidisciplinary injury management, vocational, community and musculoskeletal rehabilitation services. They have clinics across the country and hold various contracts with ACC, third party insurers, DHB’s, The Ministry of Health, private businesses and leading New Zealand organisations.

About the role

This is a position where every day is different and varied. Covering the Waikato region, you’ll be required to work autonomously, managing your own diary - yet still with the benefit of being part of a wider team and network of clinics.

This organisation plays to people's strengths. They have a variety of contracts in place, and exciting ones about to launch. Unlike other providers, the bulk of their work is not ACC VRS work. There is opportunity for you to focus on the areas that interest you most and where you are experienced and keen to develop your skill set. This includes Vocational Rehabilitation with private employers - building relationships with clients and employers, coordinating return to work programmes, performing assessments and audits, investigating equipment needs, providing workplace training and early intervention work. It is worth talking to us about your motivations and what might work for you.

Skills and experience

To win this role you will:
  • Be confident, independent, outgoing, self-motivated, flexible and have exceptional communication skills.
  • Have a passion for working with people and managing relationships.
  • Have a broad range of vocational rehabilitation experience.
  • Be committed to ongoing professional development.
  • Hold NZ Physiotherapy Board or NZ Occupational Therapy Board registration, a current Annual Practicing Certificate and a current drivers licence.
  • Ideally have post graduate qualification in Vocational Rehabilitation

What’s in it for you?

A pretty darn cool company culture! Employees speak highly of a tight knit team, comprehensive orientation programme, ongoing training and continued professional development and support. Being nationwide there are opportunities for career progression. You’ll also receive a competitive salary based on experience, performance based incentives, a professional development allowance and a vehicle for work use.
