About the Organisation
This is a fast growing dynamic organisation within the aged care sector. With a growing portfolio of care homes, hospitals and villages from Whangarei to Invercargill and a desire to be a market leader, this is an exciting time to join their team. Large enough to provide scale and variety yet through their family owned origins they have a great team and service centric culture. This is a 69 bed facility (dementia, rest home and hospital) with 45 adjacent villas and apartments.

About the job
This is the perfect position for a registered nurse with a desire to lead a team and maintain high standards and clinical quality of care. You will work alongside the facility manager providing clinical oversight, leadership and direction. In addition you will:
  • Assist with operational management of the facility
  • Actively participate in quality and risk management programme
  • Ensure provision of care to residents is of a high standard
  • Participate in the implementation of an effective education programme
Skills and Experience
You will be a Registered Nurse with current APC, right to work in NZ and a passion for and at least 3 years’ experience working in the aged residential care sector in New Zealand. This is the perfect opportunity for a motivated and ambitious RN to step onto the management ladder if you have preceptored CAP students, had exposure to rostering or taken on additional quality or infection control responsibilities in previous positions. An outgoing team player with excellent communication skills will work well here. You will really care about and value people and this will show in your patient and family centred approach. An open communicator, with high integrity; You’ll demonstrate a commitment to people, clinical quality, safety and improvement.
