ABOUT THE ROLE:
Working in our Disability Employment Services (DES) team, as the Business Engagement Consultant, you will identify and develop collaborative relationships with clients and employers with a focus on securing successful job placements and supporting BUSY Ability participants as they transition to employment.

ABOUT YOU:
Working in our Disability Employment Services (DES) team, as the Business Engagement Consultant, you will identify and develop collaborative relationships with clients and employers with a focus on securing successful job placements and supporting BUSY Ability participants as they transition to employment.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • build ongoing relationships with local employers
  • direct market clients with disabilities to employer to secure employment opportunities
  • source appropriate vacancies for the current clients
  • negotiate wage subsides and government incentives with employers to increase participation of people with disabilities to the workforce
  • build relations with community organization to identify mutually beneficial partnerships
