  • Tools of the trade including laptop, phone and fully maintained vehicle
  • Full time fixed term contract to 31 August 2021 with potential 12 mth extension.
  • Field role with office based in Mount Waverley

About the position …  
This is a pivotal role, ensuring apprentices and trainees in Victoria are receiving appropriate training and experience. This role conducts investigations to ensure that employers, and apprentices and trainees, are meeting their obligations under the ETR Act, and the training contracts they sign. A key element of the role is the development of Investigation reports, and the ability to articulate findings comprehensively.

As well as investigations/working within a regulatory framework, the Authorised Officer also demonstrates high stakeholder engagement, business liaison, attention to detail, effective scheduling  and multi-tasking capability, as core position objectives. 

A bit about you …
Our successful candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to interpret legislation, and to articulate compliance requirements to our stakeholders. You will also have proven capability to investigate matters, and make appropriate decisions and recommendations to achieve contractual objectives.

Prior experience in the VET sector is highly regarded.
