The BUSY Group is a not-for-profit organisation providing training, employment and community programs through our 3 business entities and across 48+ locations Australia-wide. We have over 40 years' experience empowering job seekers, workers and businesses through our recruitment, apprenticeship and traineeship, employment and community programs.
Based in Maroochydore on a contract until June 2022, the Team Leader for the Transition to Work program will motivate, mentor inspire and support team members to create education or employment opportunities that result in sustainable outcomes for Transition to Work participants. The Team Leader role will have a strong focus on outcomes for participants and will drive performance by providing support to the Transition to Work team. You will engage with participants, source vacancies that meet their needs and secure vacancies that will provide long term outcomes for our participants.
You will assist and support the Business Manager with day to day operations including completing reports and providing team leadership and coaching for staff. The Team Leader will recognise staff knowledge gaps and collaborate with the Business Manager to develop solutions to fill those gaps.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
The successful applicant will have experience in leading, motivating and managing small teams with the ability to complete and deliver multiple tasks and priorities. You will have excellent relationship building, business development and marketing skills as well as the ability to work as a member of a team. Although not required previous experience in the Employment Services sector will be highly regarded.
You will have a strong client focus and a desire to be a part of a growing, high achieving and successful service organisation. This role needs a self-motivated individual with a positive approach to a continuously changing working environment and who is flexible to work across multiple sites in Queensland.
