Indigenous Store Person Assistant for Koodaideri

We are looking for a dynamic, hardworking Store Person Assistant to join our Koodaideri team in Stores.

The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks. This will be a busy, hands on position and requires an energetic individual with an eye for detail and a positive, can-do attitude. General responsibilities will include but not limited to:
  • Loading and unloading of trucks.
  • Receiving and dispatching of goods.
  • Verifying goods delivered against supplier docs.
  • General housekeeping of stores and laydown areas.
  • Operating vehicles and plant as ticketed (or providing support as a spotter).
  • Collecting and reporting material certificates to QA/QC team.
  • Vehicle escort throughout site.
  • Assistance with maintenance of stores registers as required.
  • Other tasks as directed by site supervision in support of the project.
This is a full-time fixed term role, on a roster of 3 weeks on, 1 week off. Working hours will vary from 10.5 -12 dependant on project requirements.
These positions are best suited for local candidates.
  • Proven customer service skills, with the ability to provide accurate timely advice, in a helpful and supportive manner.
  • Highly developed organisational skills and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks, and work under pressure.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively in a team environment by developing effective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Sound numeracy, written and oral communication skills.
  • Current Australian drivers’ licence (HR+ advantageous).
  • OHS Construction Induction white card.
  • Current Forklift license.
  • Current Escort experience.
  • Some Traffic Management experience within mining or construction industry.
  • Computer literate and understanding of up to date and accurate record keeping.
