We are about more than vehicles and vehicle finance – we are about achieving success in business the ‘right way’ through The Toyota Way philosophy, while continuing to support people and their communities.  Our commitment to Continuous Improvement and Respect for People mean our people support each other’s development and success to deliver our global vision of mobility for all.    Reporting to the Head of IT Strategy, The Enterprise Information Architect is responsible for developing and maintaining all architectures within the Enterprise Information Architect domain, incorporating the management of structured and unstructured data standards, roadmaps, patterns and methodologies for all business solutions and technologies across Toyota Finance Australia.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a trusted advisor, and become a respected innovative agent for change and transformation within the organisation - supporting Enterprise Architecture by delivering upon Enterprise Information and Data architectures, enabling IT strategies and alignment to strategic business goals and objectives
  • Assist in the development of the Enterprise Architecture practice, and its operating and governance processes – including providing strategic advice for future business initiatives and investments – and contribute to overall Enterprise Architecture strategic planning process and roadmaps
  • Define and maintain enterprise-wide architecture standards for information / data architectures and ensure alignment with the Enterprise Architecture
  • Work in collaboration with other key business and technology stakeholder, and the data and analytics IT team in the provision of data management services, tracking and reporting changes in information / data architecture for ensuing its adopting within the organisation
  • Become the advocate for the information / data architecture domains spanning across the organisation – and to also chair the Data Governance Council (DGC) for adoption of the latest developments in information / data architecture practices, trends and the implementation of standards
  • Develop information / data designs, specifications, options papers, cost benefit analysis and other such artefacts as necessary in the development of the Enterprise Architectures and IT architectures which support business solutions
  • Provide cross-project information / data architectural monitoring, guidance and project assurance for ensuring target state architectures and related IT architectures can be realised through strategic initiatives.
 
You’ll be successful in this role if you have:  
  • Proven experience as an Information or Data Architect in a senior IT / business partnership role
  • Strong understanding of Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence (BI), Analytics and Master Data Management (MDM)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft (MS) Data/BI Toolsets including: Azure Data Services, Power BI, SQL Server, reporting and analytical services MS SSRS and SSAS, data integration with MS SSIS
  • Extensive experience in information / data modelling in a medium to large enterprise environments including the creation of business level information models (conceptual / logical)
  • Well-developed skills in planning, budgeting and project management
  • Well-developed communication, facilitation and presentation skills
  • Able to negotiate and influence stakeholders at all levels both internal and external; and
  • Flexible and adaptable with strong commercial / business acumen with experience of leading and driving business and technology change.
