Their Assurance & Risk Advisory unit has quickly gained an excellent reputation for outstanding client care and service. The team’s great success is being built off the back of extremely satisfied customers and a great team of people working together.

Due to growth they are currently seeking an experienced and motivated External Auditor to join their Assurance & Risk Advisory team in Brisbane. You will be responsible for providing assurance services to a range of clients. 

Duties:
  • Provision of external audit as well as internal audit (financial, operational and performance audits), as required
  • Performing relevant audits in line with the Australian Auditing Standards and the Australian Accounting Standards
  • Planning audit engagements, identify potential audit risks, prepare work plan and coordinate requirements
  • Overseeing and monitoring the workflow of junior team members.
  • Fostering strong client relationships which assist to grow future opportunities.
  
Skills Required:
  • Relevant tertiary qualification/s
  • Previous local experience in a similar external audit role is essential
  • CA/CPA qualification is desirable or having commenced studies
  • Possess sound technical knowledge, and acumen of accounting and auditing standards
  • Must be eligible to attain a Commonwealth Government Security Clearance
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with clients and internal staff
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team
  • Enthusiasm for learning and development
