We are seeking to appoint a casual Educator (Children’s Services Employee) at St Ita's OSHC in Dutton Park.

At St Ita's Outside School Hours Care we provide before school care, after school care and vacation care to up to 75 children.  We are seeking enthusiastic and energetic educators who are passionate about supporting primary school aged children to grow and develop and are committed to seeing them learn and have fun in a happy and safe environment.
  
Hours: Casual (varied)
Remuneration: as per the Children’s Services Modern Award 2010. Level 1.1 to Level 3.4 depending on qualifications and experience - $26.5526 to $32.5066.
  
Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with the children to create fun recreational and educational experiences that support their well-being.
  • Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming and nurturing environment.
  • Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.
  • Participate in professional and personal development.
  • Promote the service within the local community in accordance with Catholic Early EdCare’s expectations and educational philosophy.
  Job Requirements:
  • Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
  • A passion for the education and care of school aged children in a play-based environment
  • Effective workplace communication skills
