About the Position
Anglicare’s Western Region Community Aged & Disability teams provide support and services that enable our clients to maintain their independence - living happily and healthily within their own homes.  We recognise that one size does not fit all, and working together is the key to great outcomes.  Our non-clinical lifestyle programs are designed to support individual needs, incorporating the principles of social inclusion, choice and control, enablement, empowerment and independence; and our clinical supports include nursing and allied health care at home, along with domestic and personal assistance.

Our team in Roma are currently looking for either an Enrolled or Registered Nurse to join us on a part time basis (minimum 10 hours per week), to support both aged clients and those with a disability.

Roma is located 4 hours from Toowoomba and is a proudly family-focused region with great schools and a local TAFE.  The annual Roma Races and Easter in the Country celebrations bring several thousands of tourists to the area each year. Our small, rural service of just over 40 staff members, covers a geographic region the size of Victoria, and supports 310 aged and community care clients.

The Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive and accurate nursing assessments, and to plan care based on the outcomes of assessment utilising contemporary evidence based clinical knowledge and case management of clients. Enrolled Nurses work under the supervision of the Registered Nurse in the provision of total customer-centric nursing care.  You will also assess individual needs of clients and work as part of a team to ensure nursing care achieved identified outcomes.  There may be some travel required within the South East Queensland area.
