About the role:

We are looking for an E-Commerce Manager to oversee the e-commerce operations team. Your focus will be enhancing the domestic and international customer's end-to-end digital shopping experience. You are to spearhead continuous process, service, and website improvements.
  • Own and drive the top line online sales number
  • Be responsible for the growth of net sales and net profit on websites and online marketplace
  • Produce and present frequent online sales budgets and forecasts that feed into the wider eCommerce structure
  • Assess and implement commercial/sales opportunities to maximise online revenue and profitability
  • Create, present and execute sales and marketing plans demonstrating specific activities to bridge gaps to budget and forecast
  • Optimise the stock fulfilment strategy
  • Evaluate customer behaviors, market conditions, and competitor activity
  • Review new technologies and keep the company at the forefront of developments in digital marketing
  • Drive the development, performance, and profitability of the national and international websites
  • Ensure the website is market leading, providing best practice online experience
  • Monitor and grow organic traffic together with the Digital Marketing Specialist and brand and PR teams.
  • Grow and drive SEO strategies liaising with SEO Manager and ensure the website is optimised for rankings.
  • Reporting on category, brand, and style performance; site creative, customer behavior, page performance. 
  • Monitor and Analyse range performance including inventory analysis.
  • Utilise customer behavior data to help identify cross-shop, curation, and search optimisation opportunities.
  • Support the Buying and Planning teams with reviewing stock range and providing areas for improvement.
  • Product Management & Merchandising: leading a team responsible for product uploading, enrichment, set up and troubleshooting across 2 brands.  
  • Leading the team, creating processes, and ensuring performance to KPIs.
  • Key focus on automation, data flow and accuracy. 
  • Responsible for reviewing and creating accurate, up to date, and compelling product information online to engage customers. 
  • Leading the team, establishing priorities, and managing workflow, addressing queries from other departments. 
  • Digital Merchandising to drive sales growth.
  • Creating and releasing products on various channels with accuracy
  • Analyse product data and make recommendations to meet customer needs and maximise sales. 
  • Website operations (category set up, pricing, data maintenance, troubleshooting and improving product accuracy and data flow)
   
To be successful in this role you will require:
  • 4+ years’ experience in e-commerce
  • Magento experience essential
  • Experience in the ANZ market
  • Previous experience in managing and growing a successful eCommerce site
  • Ability to motivate teams with niche skill sets in a competitive marketplace
  • Broad understanding of multiple eCommerce skill sets including UX/UI, AI, CRO, SEM, e-mail, re-targeting, affiliate programs, SEO, CRM
  • Experience with Google Analytics
  • Knowledge of code would be an advantage
  • A/B and multivariate testing experience
  • An up-to-date understanding of eCommerce trends and the latest online sales tactics/best practice
  • Demonstrated team leadership
  • Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving abilities and sound decision-making abilities
  • Strong time management, organisation and prioritisation of tasks
  • Motivated self-starter with ability to meet deadlines
