Business Development Manager working for an exhibition supplier in Melbourne, permanent role on a salary of between $80,000 - $100,000 plus super

The Company:

This company is a long standing exhibition suppliers with a great team culture. They are a team of professionals that build stands for the industry and have a team of business development managers that this role will fit into. This role will be responsible for driving growth within a select portfolio of the industry. 
The Role:

The Business Development Manager reports into the Operations Manager and is seen as taking the lead on all new accounts as well as bringing in new business for the company. This is a senior level position within the business and will be client facing. 
Key responsibilities will include;
  • Selling all exhibition build offerings to clients 
  • Ability to speak with high level management within corporate businesses
  • Able to hit high sales targets and achieve KPIs
  • Client relationship management 
  • Meeting face to face and pitching to clients
  • Responsible for the sales across the Australia region
  • Monthly conversion rates and sales budgets
The Candidate: 

The candidate that will best fit this organisation will have a strong sales focus with an understanding of events but also want to be part of a team environment. Hitting targets and goals will come naturally and being confident with clients. 
  • A proven track record in sales within events with a focus on face to face sales 
  • Previous experience in the event supplier industry is seen as a positive
  • Responsible for meeting individual/personal sales targets
  • Previous experience in developing strong relationships
  • Strong written, verbal and customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
