About the role
Red Rock Recruitment are currently seeking a Wellbeing Program Manager to lead the team of Wellbeing Advocates that support the Veterans and their families transitioning back into the Townsville community.
Reporting to the General Manager, this is a full time role, based in Townsville QLD 4810 and offering 38 hours a week with an immediate start.
Salary is dependent on skill set and qualifications.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership, inspiration, motivation and a vision for the Wellbeing Program to achieve the organisation’s objectives and aspirations.
  • Be responsible for maintaining and enhancing relevant policies and procedures relating to this role and take responsibility for the practical application of changes to procedures resulting from initiatives and legislative and regulatory changes.
  • Develop and present evaluation reports and brief to the General Manager, key stakeholders and consultation committee in respect to wellbeing initiatives.
  • Display professional and ethical behaviour in your actions by developing and maintaining compliance with external legislation, internal standards and operating policies and procedures relevant to the position
  • Coach, monitor, supervise direct reports to ensure they have the skills, knowledge and development to perform their roles in an ethical, responsible and productive manner.
A Successful candidate will possess the following
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience of case management in a wellbeing setting
  • Applicable social sciences/community service qualifications and/or experience 
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to work with a predominately volunteer team
  • Demonstrated experience in the development, implementation and evaluation of innovative and contemporary wellbeing strategies and initiatives 
  • The ability to obtain an Australian Defence base pass – which requires undergoing a police history check
  • The ability to prepare reports for senior executives and board members is desirable
