Combining a local feel with a global appeal, here in Victoria we have 110 team members and 17 Directors across our Melbourne CBD and Geelong offices (all currently working remotely of course!). We provide a full service offering to our diverse client group and are on the hunt for a Senior Internal Auditor to join our newest service line – Governance and Risk Advisory.

The Role
Working closely with the Director – Governance and Risk Advisory, you will be engaging with our clients to understand their business needs and provide them with solutions to improve the effectiveness of controls, as well as driving efficiency and positive business outcomes. This will be a rewarding and challenging role that will provide technical exposure and the opportunity to mentor junior team members.
Responsibilities include:
  • Assist with planning internal audit engagements by identifying risks to determine the internal audit strategy, agreeing the timetable and schedule.
  • Evaluating clients’ compliance programs.
  • Evaluating how well risk management is being handled within all client entities, including information security and risk exposures.
  • Preparing constructive and practical recommendations to improve processes, controls and reduce risk.
  • Providing high quality and responsive client service.
  • Reviewing work of junior team members to ensure correct auditing standards are applied.
About You
You are passionate about internal audit and working with a variety of clients across a number of industries, you love working within a collaborative and supportive team, and you are ready to take that next step within a firm that prides itself on delivery, reputation and capability.
We are looking for someone who has:
  • 3 + years’ experience in professional services with an emphasis on internal audit.
  • Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) or similar undergraduate degree.
  • CPA/CA or IIA qualified
  • Sound knowledge of Risk Management, Internal Controls principles and assurance
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport easily with a diverse range of stakeholders (internal and external)
