About the Role

The position of Internal Sales & Customer Care is a pivotal role within the team, with responsibility for developing new business opportunities, increasing sales and providing ongoing customer care to a portfolio of clients within the industrial, engineering, manufacturing, fabrication sectors.

The role requires a natural go getter and self-starter, driven to achieve profitable annual growth in sales through increased market share.  Leveraging off of combined welding and sales experience, you will be a technical sales professional offering solutions-based services to your clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing a portfolio of existing accounts to achieve long-term business success
  • Establishing and developing positive working relationships with new and existing customers
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for specific client needs
  • Generating new business opportunities and working to develop effective customer networks
  • Resolving conflicts and providing alternative solutions to customers in a timely manner
  • Consistent reporting on the status of accounts and current transactions
  • Setting and tracking sales account targets, aligned with company objectives
  • Monitoring sales metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
  • Suggesting actions to improve sales performance and identifying opportunities for growth
  • Regular attendance at corporate events to promote products and services (such as trade shows, etc)

Essential Skills & Experience:
  • Previous experience within the Welding/Engineering Supply Industry
  • An appropriate knowledge of and genuine interest in welding product
  • Driven, enthusiastic personality with the ability to work autonomously
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a hands-on approach to providing practical sales solutions
  • A genuine team-player who works effectively with others
  • Excellent verbal (presentation) and written communication skills

In return we offer a competitive salary package ($60,000 to $80,000 + super), coupled with lucrative bonus incentives paid on sales results. Your excellent performance you will also be rewarded with career development opportunities and great team support.
