We’re hiring! We’re currently searching for a Team Leader to join our team based out of our Hobart office! In this role, you’ll provide team leadership, day to day operational management and support to our staff (1 x RN & 2 Admin staff).

As a key point of contact you’ll have a wide knowledge and experience of community resources and quality standards relevant to service delivery. You’ll work within a team environment but will be self-directed and independent with the ability to work closely with other organisations in a flexible and collaborative manner to ensure positive objectives are achieved.

‘A week in the life’
  • Leading a small and committed team whilst delivering outstanding customer service in assisting vulnerable people accessing services in their local communities
  • Overseeing day to day teams’ operations and activities
  • Monitoring and reporting specifically on KPI to meet business objectives and inform improvements in service delivery
  • Providing consistent training to staff on TCCRS programs including the client management system
  • Participating in performance management activities of staff reporting to the position
  • Attending to relevant public engagements relevant to the program delivery and promoting a strong Tasmania presence
What we need from you
  • Experience dealing with community based services as the service is responsible for linking clients under the TAS Home and Community Care Program
  • A willingness to engage with service providers as you’ll be required to meet new people and promote the Home & Community Care Program service
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to contribute to and, work as part of a dynamic team in addition to operating independently
  • Demonstrated skills in networking, liaison and the development and maintenance of strong links with relevant service providers and users
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills and ability to work within limited timeframes
All employees may be required to attend a Residential Aged Care facility as part of their role.  From 1 May 2020 this means that employees must be vaccinated against influenza or complete the Bolton Clarke intention to get the Influenza vaccination prior to commencement.
