Surrounded by nature and located in the subtropical central Queensland town of Bundaberg, our facility- Fairways, is located next to the Bundaberg Golf Club and is just a short walk from the beautiful Botanic gardens. We are looking for an experienced Physiotherapist to join our Allied health team to promote optimal health outcomes for our residents.
  
Your role

Our Physiotherapists provide clinical assessment and intervention for various movement related dysfunction including; neurological, musculoskeletal disorders and pain related conditions. The goal of the Allied Health team is to promote, maintain and restore physical, psychological and social well-being. Your Role will include -
  • Planning, development, implementation and evaluation of therapy care plans using a goal focused approach
  • Optimise independent functioning in all aspects of daily living involving assessment, early detection and pain management.
  • Working collaboratively with Registered Nurses regarding the implementation of care plans to alleviate the impact of chronic medical conditions on client independence
  • Provide education, advice and support, as required to other team members e.g. Personal Care Workers.
 What do we need from you?
  • Bachelor degree in Physiotherapy with Current registration with AHPRA (essential)
  • Demonstrated ability to provide high quality treatment and intervention for a broad range of conditions
  • Understanding of relevant legislative, regulatory requirements, professional standards and guidelines relevant to the aged care environment
  • Understanding of financial reporting capabilities within a service delivery framework
  • Current national police check (essential)
  • International Police Check (if you have resided overseas in the last 10 years)
  • Evidence of Australian work rights (Passport, Birth certificate etc...)
  • Evidence of the 2020 Flu Vaccination
