We are seeking an Administration Assistant with rostering/scheduling experience to join our team at our aged care facility located in Cairns. The role is offering $22.8786 an hour + salary packaging + super!

The tole will be offered to the successful candidate on a part time permanent basis (70 hours a fortnight).

Our ideal candidate will have strong time management and organisational skills combined with a commitment to confidentiality and passion for providing quality customer service. A positive attitude, attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced multifaceted environment is essential.

In your new role you will:
  • Provide a wide range of administrative support services including coordinating the admission process for residents
  • Administer staff rosters that enable an effective balance to be achieved between optimising staffing efficiency and maximising staff satisfaction
  • Ensure the roster is completed and available to staff in a timely manner that meets industrial requirements
  • Ensure effective communication flow between direct care and site management staff, Departments and Divisions
  • Provide a high level of customer service, promoting a positive relationship with internal and external customers
  • Use a variety of Bolton Clarke internal systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Provide administrative support including fleet, recruitment, orientation, payroll, finance and facilities
About you:

Your background in a similar role within aged care and staff rostering will see you exceed in this position. We also require:  
  • Prior experience in an administrative role, including petty cash and accounts receivable essential
  • Rostering and inducting staff required
  • Experience working in aged care desirable 
  • Relevant qualification is desirable
  • Strong ability to navigate new systems/programs
  • Great Interpersonal and communication skills - written and verbal
