As a pivotal team member, you will utilise your experience to coordinate ACFI processes and submissions alongside our residential aged care staff. You will identify funding opportunities to maximise ACFI claims to secure funding in order to provide the best care for our residents. This permanent full-time position works 76 hours a fortnight across Monday to Friday.

Your new role will also see you:  

  • Ensure each resident has the right level of funding for their care and support needs
  • Review and monitor care processes and assessments to ensure they accurately support funding claims
  • Update ACFI related documentation and training material in line with legislative changes
  • Liaise with key stakeholders about ACFI submissions and funding opportunities
  • Assist in upskilling RAC staff in their knowledge of the funding process
  • Conduct or support audits of customer care plans and ACFI assessments
  • Engage with multiple disciplines to provide advice and assistance to meet ACFI requirements (e.g. Allied Health staff, GP’s)
  • Assist sites to develop a process for ongoing voluntary ACFI submission
About you: 
  • AHPRA Registered Nurse desirable 
  • Demonstrated stakeholder engagement skills 
  • Ability to support a multi-disciplinary team 
  • Excellent clinical skills 
  • Proven experience and understanding of the ACFI submission process
  • In-depth knowledge of ACFI legislation
