About the role: 

We are searching for an experienced Activities Officer to empower and engage with our Residents, maximising their participation in Leisure and Lifestyle programs based at our Cabrini facility in Westmead.

Our focus for Residents is what best suits their individual needs and wants and our Activities officers facilitate this through: 
  • Participation in the development, implementation and assessment of Therapeutic Plans
  • Supporting residents to engage in their Leisure and Lifestyle choices and activities
  • Supporting staff and volunteers in provision of Leisure and Lifestyle programs
This role will require availability across Monday to Sunday, with standard working hours of 9.00am - 5.30pm. 

 
Ideally you will have: 
  • Cert III in Leisure and Lifestyle, Diversional Therapy or similar qualification
  • Experience in an Aged Care facility supporting residents with lifestyle and leisure programs
  • Police Check (valid within the last 3 years)
  • Working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc.)
