Bit of background….

The opportunity:
Reporting to the Clarks Brand Manager, this role is responsible for the back-end set up of product ranges, as well as providing support for our wonderful wholesale customers with order tracking and processing.

This position will collaborate with both internal departments and external partners to ensure a smooth order process from start to finish. This also includes support to the Sales and Business managers.


  • Order placement and maintenance (keying and confirming customers’ orders and monitoring PO tracking to ensure on time delivery)
  • Weekly reporting of order status to Sales and Business Managers
  • Set up product and ranges in our internal system, seasonally (Apparel 21, “AP21”)
  • Maintain and add product to our customer’s order system (Salesnet), ensuring accuracy of imagery.
  • Maintain and confirm that pricing is correctly set up in internal systems to ensure accurate invoicing.
  • Arrange for samples to be photographed, accurately named, and loaded into all required systems.
  • Overall customer support, including timely updates of order issues.
  • Provide images and descriptions of product to customers, to ensure accurate style representation on all customer and internal systems.
  • Be the point of contact and support for our major customers by providing product information and responding to any order enquires with a sense of urgency.
  • A high level of energy and passion for working in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Experience dealing with major customers, including Buyers and Buyers Assistants (preferably in the fashion industry).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional customer service experience and effective negotiating skills.
  • The ability to coordinate many activities at once.
  • Stakeholder management – internal and external.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Confident with MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint (as well as the ability to pick-up new systems with ease - AP21, Salesnet).  
  • You're someone who's able to prioritise your workload to meet the demands of the team, and will be able to multi-task as you will be working in a fast-paced environment with complex systems.
  • You're proactive and constantly looking for better ways to do things, by reducing duplication and complexity of processes.
  • You impress everyone with your ‘easy to do business with’ approach and have a positive can-do attitude.
