Immediate opportunity to work 3 days per week onsite with an SME manufacturing client at Carole Park

The opportunity
Reporting to the Managing Director of Harrison Human Resources, responsibilities will include: 
  • Working onsite with one (manufacturing) client three days per week in a standalone HR Manager role to implement the HR Plan with a focus on culture, compliance, and coaching managers. 
  • Advising, coaching and training managers on the full range of HR areas, including performance management, leadership development, FWA and Award terms and conditions, redundancy, WHS, attraction and retention.
  • Managing HR/ER projects such as employee engagement surveys, developing position descriptions, performance and development reviews, remuneration reviews, and implementing HRIS.
  • Reviewing and developing HR documentation, including policies, procedures, employment contracts, IFAs, and HR reports and metrics.
  • Attracting, selecting and onboarding new team members for clients.
  • If you're looking for more than 3 days work, provide HR consulting services to a variety of SME clients.
About you
  • HR/ER experience at HR Manager or BP level.
  • Demonstrated coaching and relationship-building skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Manufacturing/blue collar workforce experience.
  • Experience in project management, influencing others without authority, and meeting deadlines.
  • Significant experience interpreting and complying with Awards, the Fair Work Act and other employment-related legislation.
  • Tertiary qualifications in business, HR/ER, psych, employment law or similar highly regarded.
  • Work health and safety qualification and experience would be beneficial.
