About the Role
 
The Strategic Business Development Specialist is a newly created position that will coordinate business development activities across  Caraniche to ensure timely, high quality submissions are developed in response to open market opportunities.
 
Reporting into the Strategic Business Development Manager, the role will also support our Business Development Unit in undertaking activities to identify new markets, disruptive strategies and the development of project reporting.

As this is a new role for the company there will be significant scope to develop the role in line with the company’s growing requirements.

This role is a full-time on-going position based in our head office in Abbotsford.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Management of tender process and responses
  • Develop business cases and project documents
  • Engage with market research and proactively identify new business opportunities
  • Monitor external competitors, market pressures and influences
  • Develop comprehensive reporting and metrics to monitor performance and drive a culture of continuous improvement
  • Monitor and maintain project schedules and progress reports.
  • Works with Extended Leadership Team (ELT) to develop and coordinate company-wide projects and initiatives
  • Business development support for business units, including team meeting, preparation of weekly agendas
Who we are looking for
 
If you have proven experience in a similar role and pride yourself on your tender development skill set, we would love to hear from you.  The successful candidate will have strong relationship building skills and excellent time management skills to thrive in this position.

Tertiary qualifications in healthcare, communications, business, marketing or equivalent will be highly regarded
