Graphic Designer

WA Police and Community Youth Centres

Amazing opportunity for a designer who loves the pride of overhauling creative and developing hard-hitting concepts!

  • Competitive Salary
  • Heart-warming for-purpose environment
  • Opportunity to make your mark
WA PCYC is an incredible organisation that changes the lives of underprivileged children living in WA. We have a proud history in WA, with a great story to tell.

We currently operate in 21 locations, with 13 regional and 7 metropolitan centres, plus a camp facility, and numerous Outreach, Blue Light Youth Activities and Police Ranger Units across the state. Our organisation is unique through its partnership with the WA Police, and mission simple – to help all children and young people achieve their potential.

The PCYC brand is well-known, having changed the lives of children in WA for over 78 years. However, as with all great brands, sometimes it’s time for a refresh. That’s where you come in.

We’re looking for a Graphic Designer that is happy to come in and start from scratch. (Including setting up a shiny new Mac!) Someone that will love the pride of looking back on disparate materials and bringing uniformity to our brand. As part of a small team, you will be responsible for typesetting the materials and online inventory for each WA PCYC Centre as well as creating concepts for internal and external marketing, communications and fundraising campaigns. But you won’t be going it alone! You will have the support of an experienced team that’s passionate about getting the brand where it needs to be, and the benefit of working alongside respected agencies for larger-scale projects.

As an experienced designer, you’ll know the score. Juggling day-to-day briefs, monthly reports, and making time to work on the more fun campaigns. Whilst we’re busy, and there’s so much to do, we’ll make sure you get to go home on time. (We know that’s rare for designers...)

So, if you’re looking for a role where you can make a difference and go home proud of what you’ve produced, this is it. The way WA PCYC represents itself is central to our success. Both to build brand awareness and increase participation and revenue generation, so we’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running to make fast gains and someone who appreciates the scale of the opportunity.

So, if you have the passion to help get our brand on track and personality to be happy balancing run-of-the-mill design requests with the longer term exciting projects, please send your CV, explaining why you think you’re right for the role, along with a selection of your favorite work to hr@wapcyc.com.

Please note, the recruitment process will start immediately.
