This company is a large manufacturer who has been in operation for over 50 years and continues to grow through the Civil, Mining, Oil & Gas, Wastewater, Power Generation and Processing sectors. They’ve had multiple acquisitions that have contributed to their success. This division of flow control supplies a full range of industrial valves, process control and fittings for any industrial application.

POSITION

This position will involve developing and growing new relationships within the Queensland and Northern Territory region. Specifically, the role of Business Development Manager will report directly to the General Manager and together you will be focused on developing the mining region to provide consultation, investigation and solutions to key people in the industrial sectors.
  • Dealing with Mechanical Engineers, Consultants, Super Intendants and Contractors.
  • Representing a suite of products such as butterfly, knife gate, gate, check and air release valves.
  • Sell to a range of heavy industry etc.
PERSON

Ideally to be a success in this position it will involve having previous experience within the valve industry having sold into the same industries as this manufacturer. Given this role is based remotely, you will need to have experience working autonomously where you’re self-motivated and enjoy taking responsibility for your career to help create growth within the region.
  • Ideally have 3 – 5 years’ experience selling valves or instrumentation to the Mining sector across Qld & Northern Territory.
  • The ability to work autonomously and take reasonability of the direction of the branch and company.
  • Enjoy managing relationships and understand the local territory.
