We are currently looking for a dedicated Traffic Field Supervisor to join our team on a full-time basis, located at our Belmont head office, Western Australia. The person will be based in the head office and in the field. The role will report directly into the Traffic Operations Manager and is required to start immediately.
This role will play a crucial role in providing front line leadership, guidance, and operational support to our teams in the field. The Traffic Field Supervisor will be expected to regularly evaluate the performance of team members in order to deliver feedback, support, and training appropriate to the team member or the situation.

Job Responsibilities:   
  • Provide onsite management to effectively oversee the performance of operations in line with the Company and Client’s expectations
  • Provide effective training, support, coaching and guidance to traffic control personnel
  • Manage, evaluate, assess and analyse performance of traffic control personnel
  • Manage, maintain and coordinate all Traffic Management related equipment
  • Preparing and plan for projects including but not limited to, communications, equipment and documentation
  • Engage with suppliers and arrange for collection or delivery of equipment or services
  • Managing and maintaining all project related compliance documentation
  • Scheduling personnel and effectively managing talent pools to ensure effective employee availability
  • Conduct audits and inspections on projects and provide effective reporting to the Operations Manager
  • Conduct and provide toolbox discussions
  • Perform staff inductions ensuring both the company and client’s policies are understood
  • Ensure that all incident reporting material is collated and documented accordingly with a planned solution then implemented  
The candidate will require:  
  • 2+ years' experience in a similar role in the traffic management industry
  • 5+ years' experience in the traffic management industry
  • Valid Australian drivers licence
  • Traffic control and basic worksite traffic management licence
  • Basic worksite traffic management and traffic control qualifications
  • Advanced worksite traffic management qualification
  • OHS construction card
  • Cert IV or diploma OHS desirable   
  • Computer literate - ability to use Microsoft office suite (outlook, word, power point, excel etc).
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships across all stakeholders
  • Competency in written and verbal communication to a professional standard
  • The ability to provide leadership to existing teams
  • Proven ability to problem solve & multi-task
  • Demonstrated experience in following OH&S policies and procedure.
