Sand Hill Road have now opened the doors to the reimagined Hotel Esplanade!
 
Embracing the venue’s rich and proud history, our vision was to restore the St Kilda icon to its former grandeur and glory, creating a dynamic new dining, drinking and music destination for Melbourne.
 
Opening up parts of the venue many never knew existed, ‘The Espy’ offers a diverse range of lifestyle experiences including a main bar, garden terrace, public bar and basement, three music stages (including the beloved Gershwin Room), expansive kitchen and dining area, Cantonese restaurant with accompanying cocktail bar, and a world class sophisticated cocktail bar on the top floor.

Our management teams are responsible for:
  • Creating a positive venue experience, maintaining high standards of venue presentation and ensuring our guests leave wanting to talk about their great experience
  • Driving a positive culture within all areas of the staff team
  • Finances including budgets, P&L review and ensuring the venue is fully operational and compliant
  • Ensuring appropriate processes and procedures are followed by staff
  • Recruiting, inducting and training a professional team of bartenders, waiters, managers, hosts and chefs introducing the highest level of customer service standards
