Connect is seeking an experienced office manager for a busy construction company based 15 minutes North of Perth city.

The company, which currently holds contracts on a number of Tier 1 and Tier 2 projects is expanding, is looking for an office all rounder to join and lead their existing team. Reporting to the directors your duties will include but will not be limited to:

  • Preparing the weekly payroll
  • Preparing weekly invoicing
  • Updating company procedures in relation to back office
  • Tendering support
  • Managing the allocation of staff to different projects
  • Controlling and reducing loss from an operations aspect
  • Identifying opportunities for the business to improve its processes and developing and implementing action plans on how to improve them

The position will suit somebody who has a strong background in accounts and payroll but who also has a great business acumen. The positions hours are extremely flexible depending on the requirements of the right candidate. 

In order to be considered for this position all applicants must have the following:

  • A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role or
  • MYOB literate
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in accounts/ payroll at another company
