ONCALL Interpreters and Translators is an up and coming Language Service Provider in the UK. We now require a full time system administrator to support the ongoing growth.

We use these on a daily basis:
  • Desktop Support: Windows 7,8, 10, Office 2013
  • Server Support: VMWare, Server 2012 R2, Linux (Ubuntu/Debian)
  • Network Support: PFSense, Layer 3 Switches, Routing, OpenVPN, IPSec
  • Cloud: AWS – CloudFormation Templates through JSON, EC2 VMs, RDS, and VPC
  • ERP Configuration Support: IIS, SQL, Redis, ELK Stack
Your day to day responsibilities will include:
  • Managing systems for colleagues and customers
  • Resolving colleague and customer challenges proactively
  • Directly communicate with a broad range of stakeholders
  • Mentoring your colleagues to help them expand their skills
  • Making our roles easier by improving existing systems and processes
  • Handling of support and finance duties
To perform well in this role, you will have:
  • The ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
  • A strong self-motivation to learn new skills and technologies
  • A methodical and principled approach to troubleshooting and problem diagnosis
  • A strong desire to see constant improvement in yourself and the tools and processes you use
  • Must have 1 Year experience in a similar role
  • Must at least have a Tertiary education
