The role is to provide ICT support to our clients along with working closely with the remote support & project teams.

Direct Support Level 3 Engineer

Calibre One are looking to expand our Service team with a Level 3 engineer. This is a great opportunity to have a direct influence with a team of professionals that value our customers, team culture and career growth.

You will work with a diverse client base across several industry sectors with a broad range of technologies.

In this role you will be responsible for:
  • Taking on escalations from Level 1 & 2 engineers.
  • Undertake more complex change management and issue resolution.
  • Perform root cause analysis and identify opportunities to improve client’s ICT environments.
  • Conducting audits on client’s ICT environments to ensure compliance with desired standards & best practices.
  • Assist with development and functionality of automation and monitoring services.
  • Assist with developing quotes and pre-sales engineering.
  • Mentor Level 1 & 2 engineers to improve skillsets.
  • Creating professional relationships with clients and showing empathy with their requirements.
  • Performance of afterhours work as required.
Skills & Experience Required:
  • 5+ years’ experience in systems support, servers, and networking.
  • Hands on experience with the Microsoft product stack, including Windows 10, Microsoft 365, & Windows servers.
  • Strong understanding and experience with networking systems, including VLAN & routing.
  • Strong experience with automation tools such as PowerShell.
  • Excellent communication and time-management skills.
  • Ability to break down complex tasks and problems to identify solutions.
  • Ability to work both individually and as part of a larger team.
