About the role:

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Paraplanner to join our client’s team, assisting Advisers in providing insurance advice in the best interests of their clients in a compliant and timely manner.
What would you be doing?
  • Working with Advisers to help identify any gaps/shortfalls in client’s financial situation based on their goals and objectives should the unforeseen occur.
  • Provide appropriate insurance strategies to address these gaps in a simple manner
  • Use X-Plan to produce compliant Statements of Advice (SOA's) and Record of Advice (ROA) etc, that adhere to Dealer Group’s guidelines.
  • Build relationships with insurance underwriters to help assist with getting desirable pre-assessment outcomes for our clients.
  • Keep up to date with insurance product enhancements, strategies that will benefit our clients.
  • Assist Advisers to ensure that all their compliance requirements are met when providing advice.
  • Ad-hoc paraplanning related project work
How can I tell if this is for me?
  • RG 146 complaint
  • Have at least 2 years’ experience in a paraplanning role, with a focus on insurance advice
  • Strong understanding of the Insurance providers, their products, underwriting processes and procedures.
  • X-Plan experience is essential
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Possess a high level of attention to detail
  • Possess strong insurance technical knowledge and relationship skills
  • Strong client focus
