Title: Sales Consultant
Type:  Full Time – 75 hour fortnight (rotating roster – flexibility & 7 day availability required)
Reporting to: Assistant Experience Centre Manager

This Position
 
The Sales Consultant is responsible for providing all clientele that contact or visit the Miele Centre with the highest standard of service, using detailed product knowledge to guide and support customers with their desire to purchase a Miele products.
 
Responsibilities

  • Proactively & consultatively assist all customers with product information, demonstrations, quotations and follow up, through to closure of sales
  • Ensure showroom and equipment are clean and up to date
  • Support the Home Economy team with the coordination of cooking classes
  • Maintain an up to date knowledge of Miele products
  • Assist with telephone enquiries and general administration duties
  • Ensure assistance with trade nights, product training sessions and showroom events
  • Active participation in rollout and adherence to the customer engagement framework
  • Aim to reach and exceed team based sales targets
  • Actively support Miele's sustainability strategy in every day work by preventing pollution and environmental damage

  • Experience delivering impeccable customer service 
  • Consultative sales experience
  • Demonstrable ability to work within and encourage a team environment
  • Demonstrable high end retail experience
  • Able to resolve problem situations individually and quickly
  • Flexibility with hours and days of work
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Quick learner
  • Intermediate level Microsoft Office, including Excel.
