Level 2 Support Engineer

Junior to Mid Level 2 Support person required for global software company. Looking after hosted and on premise client environments. 6 month contract.

This client is at the forefront of evolving technology across Machine Learning, AI and Analytics. Due to continued growth they are looking for a Level 2 Support Person to join their support team on an initial 6 month contract.

As the successful Level 2 Support Person you will be responsible for working in a team supporting multiple clients across their hosted and on premise environments.

Position responsibilities:
  • Utilise ticket system (ServiceNow) to prioritise and address client issues
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software and performance issues
  • Perform daily admin activities for hosted servers
  • Assist with the design and set up of operating systems
Position requirements:
  • 4 years in technical support roles
  • Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems
  • Experience with Servers, Network, and SAN / Storage
  • Experience with virtualization technologies
  • Excellent communication skills
