What you will be doing

You will be developing new relationships and generating new opportunities with State and Federal Government clients.
  • Establish strong, long-term client relationships through networking and new business development
  • Use a consultative sales approach to meet client needs through a combination of selling additional solutions, re-enforce value proposition to retain and grow client relationships and leading, advancing, and negotiating sales to closing
  • Act as the liaison between key customers and internal teams including presales, partner sales, executives and delivery teams.
  • Manage customer account planning cycles and involve subject matter experts where appropriate.
  • Reframing customer business problems to be in line with recommended S2C, CLM & SRM solutions and being the top preferred vendor solution
Who you will be doing it for

You will be joining an Australian-owned software development and consulting company with a focus on procurement and supplier/contract management solutions. They have been experiencing significant revenue growth and are planning to almost double in size this year. 

What is required to apply for this role

Minimum of 7 years' experience within enterprise software sales.
  • Experience selling to the Government/Public Sector is essential
  • A degree, preferably in a finance or business related discipline
  • A consultative and solution driven sales style
  • Ability to manage an end to end sales cycle over varying timescales
  • Ability to present & negotiate with senior management/C-level prospects
  • Strong business & commercial awareness
  • Independent and self-disciplined
