- Apprenticeship upon proving your worth
- Complex, detailed work that will make you think
- Great team in a growing company
Are you are hands-on practical person who would love to take on a trade? If you're looking for a role with a bit of complexity that will make you think, roofing may be the career for you.
Architectural Roofers learn all about the latest new technologies in rooves and learn a lot of techniques to create amazing rooves without obvious fastenings or gutters. You will train to become a specialised Architectural Roofer (it will take you a few years). Firstly, prove yourself in the first three months to be signed up for an apprenticeship.
You're not afraid of heights, are lightweight (in all the right ways) so you don't create damage and at least 177cm tall to enable you to pivot materials onto rooves. You have proven experience as a labourer or similar, or have completed pre-trade studies. Naturally working on a building site you'll be safety conscious and drug-free.
You'll have great spatial awareness so you can learn to visualise the final result, and all of the steps needed to get there. As a trainee Architectural Roofer, you'll learn to do things far in excess of your average roofer, and work on some amazing houses and other projects along the way.
So if you're a practical hands-on person, need your first career break and you're in it for the long-haul, keen for an apprenticeship, apply now!
