Your New Company: 

Everyday Independence started over 20 years ago in Bendigo, regional Victoria.  We have a strong commitment to the communities that we support and with leadership from the 2020 Telstra Business Woman of the year, Leanne Healey who is also the inaugural Australian OT of the year (2018) and Founder of what is now Aust largest allied health business delivering to the NDIS.

We provide quality, person centred therapy services to support people with a disability to live to their full potential and enjoy an everyday life while delivering community based Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech Pathology, Positive Behaviour Supports and Early Childhood Intervention Supports to build on what is working in a person’s life and create changes to areas that are not.  
A well-established organisation, we now have more than 24 teams providing in person and online support to people across Queensland, Victoria, New South Wales and Tasmania.  

Team Leader – Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist or Speech Pathologist 
Employment Term: Ongoing 
Location – Harris Park
Salary $80,000 - $119,000 plus super 
As an experienced therapist (Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist or Speech Pathologist), you will lead the team with a portion of leadership and clinical time. You engage with participants across the lifespan and work within your scope of practice to achieve the below outcomes: 
  • You will have the ability to use your entrepreneur and local champion skills and will build a team of therapists who are adaptable, solution orientated, outcome driven and invested in making a difference in people’s lives.  
  • Develop, plan and conduct therapy sessions within the participants natural environment that aligns with the Social Model – both online and face to face. 
  • Identify the facilitators and barriers within a person’s environment (attitudinal, social and physical) with meaningful and impactful goals. 
  • Regularly evaluate progress and outcomes, using relevant measures, and discuss outcomes with participants, family and key stakeholders. 
  • Prepare full, accurate and timely reports that will assist in future planning and recommendation strategies. 
  • Be supported and provided mentoring and coaching along with the ability to craft your career path. 
  • Attend weekly meetings either online or face to face.
