Speech Pathologist

As an experienced Speech Pathologist within our team, you will have a growth mindset, be adaptable, solution orientated, outcome driven and invested in making a difference in people’s lives.

Employment term: Permanent full time or part time roles available for experienced Speech Pathologists (3 – 5 days per week)
Location – Launceston
Salary $35 - $55 per hour – depending on experience

As an experienced Speech Pathologist, engaging with participants across the lifespan, you will work within your scope of practice to achieve the below outcomes:
  • Develop, plan and conduct therapy sessions within the participants natural environment that aligns with the Social Model – both online and face to face.
  • Identify the facilitators and barriers within a person’s environment (attitudinal, social and physical) with meaningful and impactful goals.
  • Regularly evaluate progress and outcomes, using relevant measures, and discuss outcomes with participants, family and key stakeholders.
  • Prepare full, accurate and timely reports that will assist in future planning and recommendation strategies.
  • Be supported and provided mentoring and coaching along with the ability to craft your career path.
  • Attend weekly meetings either online or face to face.
