Salary: $65,000 - $120,000
3 Available positions:
OT (any level, all ages), OT with experience in Assistive Tech and Home Mods and a Positive Behaviour Support. 


Everyday Independence is growing to meet the needs of people of all ages who live with a disability in the Bayside region. We have caseloads that support people across the life span (0 – 100 +) and we have the ability to design a caseload that fits with your experience or area of interest. If you join EI you will:
  • Be part of the largest privately owned allied health organisation in Australia with 220 employees and growing. We recruit every 8 weeks and develop our Newstarters with our OFF TO A FLYING START PROGRAMME.
  • Work with people where they live, work, learn and play. Including their homes, workplace/schools and out in the broader community.
  • Support people with a disability (and their supports) to achieve high impact and positive outcomes that will give their life meaning and purpose. 
  • Work in an interdisciplinary team of other therapists where the person is at the centre of everything we do.
  • Lead, coach and mentor early career therapists (experience dependent).  
  • Use a strength-based and capacity building approach, embed therapy into routines and deliver a service that demonstrates inclusive participatory practice.

Our unique service delivery model has been recognised and our founding Director Leanne Healey was awarded the inaugural 2018 Australian OT of the year for this work.  In this role you will be supported towards OT service delivery excellence. We also have optional training programmes in Positive Behaviour Support, Supported Independent Living, Assistive technology, Complex communication challenges, specific housing and support needs, building a person’s capacity and independence and supporting their integration into the community, Leadership and more.
