The Company

The Opportunity 
Become a leader in one of the industry’s most established survey Companies. We have a solid pipeline of work until 2024, and have created a new opportunity for a passionate and committed Survey Professional to join the team. To assist, lead, develop, grow and shape the future of our Melbourne infrastructure survey operations. 
You will be reporting to the State Manager and will provide support overseeing the day-to-day operations of the infrastructure construction team. You will be focused on building strong relationships with clients whilst training and supporting team members to drive operational performance, and further improve systems and processes.
The position is ideal for an experienced Surveyor looking to take the next step in their career or someone who has similar operational industry experience and wants to work with one of the industry’s best.
To be successful, we are looking for: 
  • A minimum Diploma or Degree Surveying qualification
  • 5+ years’ surveying experience or previous operational management experience in a similar role
  • A strong understanding of the construction industry
  • 12D Model knowledge is desirable
  • The capability to assist lead and manage the Survey Team, driving high performance, quality and a safety culture 
  • The competence to assist manage the day-to-day operations, including the overflow of work, onboarding employees, developing and motivating the team to maximise morale, company culture and retention
  • The ability to coach and mentor the team
  • The skills to develop new business and improve business processes and technologies to improve service delivery to clients
  • The capability to identify opportunities for continuous improvement whilst reducing costs of the current operations 
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills, be proactive, and solutions orientated
  • A high level of attention to professionalism, detail, and accuracy
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills with strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • A valid driver's licence (c class) and white card.
