As a multi-award winning Mortgage Broking practice, they have thrived over the last few years and are now looking for a team member that exudes leadership qualities and has a proven track record of success in their positions.
  
The ideal person will not necessarily have Management experience, but will be able to demonstrate leadership abilities and ready to take the next step up in their career.
  
Managing a team of around 10, the ideal person will have a background within the Mortgage Broking industry and a passion for developing and coaching staff members.
  
You will be responsible for daily staff management of the team, helping them overcome obstacles and improve workflow/operations. Working closely with the Directors, you will be the catalyst to get the business to the next level.
  
The Role:
  • Manage the daily workflow of the team
  • Performance management & appraisals
  • Onboarding new staff members
  • Organise and run weekly team meetings
  • Manage HR related issues
  • Manage general work email inboxes
  • Look for opportunities to improve systems & processes
  • Working closely with Directors
The Ideal Candidate Has:
  • Prior work experience in Mortgage Broking (Mandatory)
  • Experience working with a small team (Highly Desirable)
  • Previously managed staff members or looking to take the next step up
  • Outstanding problem-solving abilities with a strong attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • The ability to overcome objections
  • The drive to come in early and stay back late if required
