This heavy-hitting Business Development role will allow you autonomy and the opportunity to earn uncapped commission. Our client has grown significantly within a short amount of time, backed by their very well-established sister company.
Set within the information services and technology field, your key task will be to generate new revenue for the company by proactively pitching and closing deals over the phone, face to face and via video hook-ups.
You will be working in a brand-new funky fit-out office in the heart of the Melbourne CBD, with a dynamic & vibrant team of people around you.
The role:
  • Consult with new and existing businesses in order to achieve sales targets, maximise revenue and attract new clients.
  • Develop and manage a pipeline of active opportunities
  • Ensure follow-ups in Salesforce (CRM)
  • Set appointments with existing clients to increase revenue
  • Overcome objections & problem solve
  • Working autonomously & as part of a broader team
You will have:
  • Experience as a Business Development Manager
  • At least 6 years Sales experience
  • Previous exposure to the Technology/SaaS or IT sector (highly advantageous)
  • A dynamic & driven personality
  • A goal-orientated outlook & keenness to smash targets
  • Impeccable communication skills (written & verbal)
  • Strong Microsoft Suite & Computer skills
  • The ability to think outside the box
