My client is a global professional services consultancy with a growing IT advisory offering in Adelaide (and nationally). Working on high profile projects across multiple domains (mostly not Government). 

About the role
As a Consultant, you will be supporting projects deploying Oracle EBS 12.2 as part of the broader project team, responsibilities will include liaising directly with clients to identify and document their requirements and the configuration and development of software to meet those requirements. You will be responsible for helping companies and organisations improve their operations.

About the role
  • You will be responsible for assisting with an Oracle E Business Suite 12.2 installation.
  • You'll have responsibility for the administration (database and Weblogic) and configuration, patching, cloning, product upgrades, backup and recovery
  • You will have the skills to act as a technical lead and database administrator for the duration of the project 
Professional Skill Requirements
  • Test programs or databases, correct errors and make necessary modifications.
  • Modify existing databases and database management systems or direct programmers and analysts to make changes.
  • Plan, coordinate and implement security measures to safeguard information in computer files against accidental or unauthorized damage, modification or disclosure.
  • Work as part of a project team to coordinate database development and determine project scope and limitations.
  • Write and code logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers of database to management system or direct others in coding descriptions.
  • Approve, schedule, plan, and supervise the installation and testing of new products and improvements to computer systems such as the installation of new databases.
  • Review project requests describing database user needs to estimate time and cost required to accomplish project.
  • Develop standards and guidelines to guide the use and acquisition of software and to protect vulnerable information
