Our client is a boutique Project Management and Construction consultancy operating client side, valuing and rewarding entrepreneurship. This consultancy is leading a major project to the value of $1Bn+ and are currently expanding interstate as well as in New Zealand. As such, an Office and Systems Manager is required to assist with the company’s period of growth and lead a small team, located in the North Sydney Office.
  
About The Role:
The Office and Systems Manager will be responsible for key customer and stakeholder relationships such as supporting the Executive Team, the staff business support teams of admin, marketing and finance divisions.
  
Your responsibilities will include and is not limited to:
  • Maintain the company’s ISO certified management system to ensure compliance for WHS, Quality and Enviro certification, including preparation for annual auditing materials
  • Assist the Company Director’s to define, analyse, recommend and implement business systems improvements such as the document management systems, project controls and CRM integration.
  • Coordinate and undertakes the procurement, maintenance, and repairs of all office equipment, phones, and associated infrastructure.
  • General office management, including managing the 2 staff member that are responsible for office administration duties and marketing duties.
  • Undertaking the HR functions such as on-boarding and off-boarding processes and support the executive team in organising recruitment, performance reviews, and training & development of staff
  • Supporting the executive team in company secretarial matters such as compiling statutory reporting documentation and other matters
  
You will ideally have the following skills and experience:
  • Previous experience working within Project Management / Engineering / Construction Management environments
  • Advanced computer literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Project, Adobe pdf
  • Demonstrated experience in preparation of reports, memos, emails to internal and external stakeholders
  • Effective verbal communication with the range of people from sub-contractors, technical specialists, construction contractors or clients
  • Critical and lateral thinking; problem solving in the interpretation of literal requirements
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Advantageous but not essential - inDesign, GIS, Navisworks 360, Autocad or equivalent
